Logitech G PLAY 2026: 15 New Gaming Products, PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE, Yeti 2 and Sim Racing Gear

Logitech G PLAY 2026 brought an unusually broad hardware refresh on September 23, with Logitech G announcing 15 products alongside new software for competitive players, streamers and sim racers. The biggest changes are not simply cosmetic: the new PRO line adds a tunable haptic click system, Hall-effect keyboard controls and upgraded competitive audio, while Logitech is also expanding into automatic gameplay clipping and more modular sim-racing hardware.

Here are the announcements worth knowing about and what they actually change for players.

A new generation of Logitech G PRO competitive gear

Logitech used the tenth anniversary of its PRO Series to introduce four new competitive-gaming products: the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE mouse, PRO X2 RAPID keyboard, PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED headset and PRO X CONTROL mouse pad.

The PRO X2 RAPID is a wired keyboard built around magnetic Hall-effect analog switches. Logitech says actuation can be adjusted from 0.1 mm to 4 mm in 0.05 mm increments. Rapid Trigger allows keys to reset as they move upward rather than waiting for a fixed reset point, while an onboard OLED display provides direct access to actuation, Rapid Trigger, 8 kHz key scan and USB report-rate settings.

The PRO X CONTROL is Logitech G's first PRO-branded mouse pad. It measures 400 x 460 mm, uses a knitted cloth surface and sits on a 6 mm SlimFlex foam base.

PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE replaces the conventional mouse click system

The most technically interesting announcement is the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE. Instead of a conventional mechanical or optical microswitch arrangement, Logitech uses what it calls HITS — the Haptic Inductive Trigger System.

The click can be configured with 10 actuation levels, five rapid-trigger reset settings and six levels of haptic feedback. Logitech claims its testing showed click latency improvements of up to 30 milliseconds compared with traditional mechanical or optical microswitches. That is a manufacturer claim rather than an independent benchmark, so real-world testing will be important.

PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED focuses on comms and battery life

The new PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED headset uses 50 mm PRO-G graphene drivers and adds an upgraded 48 kHz/16-bit microphone. Logitech also lists a customizable 10-band parametric EQ and up to 70 hours of battery life.

For competitive players, the microphone upgrade may be as relevant as the drivers. Clear team communication can matter more than dramatic audio processing in games where short callouts have to remain intelligible during crowded fights.

G HUB Replay will automatically find gameplay highlights

Hardware was only part of the event. Logitech also announced G HUB Replay, free software designed to record gameplay, identify notable moments and assemble highlight clips automatically.

Logitech describes examples such as a 1v3 clutch or a buzzer-beater being detected, saved and prepared for export without the player manually searching through a long recording. The usefulness will ultimately depend on how accurately Replay identifies meaningful moments across different games.

Yeti 2 adds proximity sensing and adaptive audio

The Yeti 2 is a ground-up redesign of the familiar Blue Yeti microphone. Its unusual feature is an intelligent proximity sensor that tracks the speaker's position in three dimensions and can dynamically alter gain, EQ and pickup patterns.

Logitech also says Yeti 2 includes AI-powered noise suppression, G HUB integration and an LED screen that uses an animated Yeti character to communicate microphone status. The character can indicate mute state, suitable gain or clipping.

McLaren hardware headlines the sim-racing expansion

Sim racing received its own major refresh. Logitech announced the RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle, PC-only versions of the RS50 System and G923, and new RS Pedals SE.

The McLaren bundle combines an 8 Nm RS50 Direct Drive wheel base with TRUEFORCE, the RS Formula Wheel, RS Wheel Hub and RS Pedals with a 75 kg load-cell brake. The new RS Pedals SE take a more modular approach, shipping with Hall-effect gas and brake pedals while allowing a load-cell brake to be added later.

The PC-only RS50 and G923 options are intended to let PC players buy the hardware configuration they need without paying for console-specific functionality they may never use.

Existing G502 X owners are getting a firmware upgrade

Not every G PLAY announcement requires buying new hardware. Logitech says a G HUB firmware update for the G502 X PLUS and G502 X LIGHTSPEED will raise maximum sensor resolution to 44,000 DPI and add independent X/Y sensitivity adjustment.

Logitech also expanded its G3 family with the compact G316 X 75 keyboard, introduced themed G-KEYCAPS, added Lilac options to several G3 products and revealed an ASTRO A50 X Mars Red Edition.

What matters most from Logitech G PLAY 2026?

Fifteen products make for a crowded announcement, but four developments stand out:

  • Mouse clicks are becoming configurable inputs. HITS moves actuation and reset behavior into software-tunable territory rather than treating a mouse click as a fixed mechanical event.
  • Hall-effect keyboards continue moving into mainstream competitive gear. Adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger are now central features of Logitech's flagship PRO keyboard.
  • Gaming software is becoming more automated. G HUB Replay aims to remove manual work from capturing and sharing highlights.
  • Sim racing is becoming more modular. The new PC-only systems and upgradeable pedals give buyers more ways to start smaller and add hardware later.

Logitech says regional pricing, availability and launch timing will be announced through its regional channels for individual products, so buyers should verify their local product page before treating a date or price from another market as applicable to them.
