MTG Secret Lair Corn Maze Superdrop: October 12 Release Time, Prices and Queue Rules

Magic: The Gathering collectors have another limited Secret Lair sale to watch this month. Wizards of the Coast has revealed the Secret Lair: Corn Maze Superdrop, an eight-drop lineup scheduled to go on sale October 12, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT.

The release mixes licensed crossovers with artist-focused Magic drops, including three collections based on Jim Henson's Labyrinth, plus KPop Demon Hunters and Marvel Zombies.

Corn Maze Superdrop release time and queue rules

Wizards says the pre-queue opens at 8 a.m. PT, one hour before the sale begins. Customers already in the pre-queue when the sale starts are randomly assigned a position. Shoppers who proceed to checkout after 9 a.m. PT join in the order they arrive.

  • Secret Lair x Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Through the Labyrinth

How much do the individual drops cost?

Each individual Corn Maze drop is priced at $29.99 for non-foil and $39.99 for traditional foil. Wizards is also offering several bundles, including a $239.92 Pumpkin Spiced Non-Foil Bundle, a $319.92 Full Moon Foil Bundle, and a $539.99 A-Maize-Ing Everything Bundle containing foil and non-foil versions of all eight drops.

The $199 Maze of Ith promo

For every $199 spent, qualifying orders receive one foil Maze of Ith reimagined as “The Labyrinth,” while promotional supplies last. Wizards also states that orders over $99 receive free shipping, subject to the storefront's terms.

What collectors should know before October 12

The biggest practical detail is that adding a drop to your cart does not secure it. For collectors targeting a specific release, Wizards recommends having a Wizards Account ready and checking shipping and payment information before entering the pre-queue.

The three Labyrinth drops are particularly notable in 2026, the 40th anniversary year of Jim Henson's 1986 film, while the broader Superdrop gives collectors a choice between licensed releases and Magic-focused art treatments rather than centering the entire sale on one property.
