PlayStation Plus September 2026 Game Catalog: WWE 2K26, RuneScape Dragonwilds and More
PlayStation Plus has a busy September ahead. Sony’s September 2026 Game Catalog adds RuneScape: Dragonwilds and WWE 2K26 on September 15, with several more PS5 and PS4 games arriving in staggered drops later in the month.
For Extra and Premium subscribers trying to decide what to download first, here is the confirmed U.S. schedule and the standout additions.
PlayStation Plus September 2026 release schedule
- September 15: RuneScape: Dragonwilds — PS5
- September 15: WWE 2K26 — PS5
- September 22: Ball x Pit — PS5
- September 22: Slitterhead — PS5, PS4
- September 29: Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound — PS5, PS4
- September 29: Dungeons of Hinterberg — PS5, PS4
- September 29: Sniper Elite: Resistance — PS5, PS4
Date Everything! joined the catalog earlier on September 9. PlayStation Plus Premium also receives Mega Man X Command Mission for PS5 and PS4 and Metro Redux for PS4.
Sony notes that Game Catalog and Premium/Deluxe availability can vary by region, so players outside the U.S. should confirm availability through their local PlayStation Store.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds brings co-op survival to PS5

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is one of the headline additions. Set on Ashenfall, a previously unexplored continent in the RuneScape universe, the co-operative survival adventure mixes gathering, building, crafting, quests and skill progression with a larger objective: surviving long enough to confront the Dragon Queen.
Longtime RuneScape players should recognize creatures including Zogres and Black Knights, while Ashenfall also introduces new threats. Skills unlock abilities and spells as players progress, giving the survival-game structure a distinctly RuneScape-style progression system.
WWE 2K26 joins the catalog on September 15

WWE 2K26 is the other major September 15 addition. Sony says the game features more than 400 playable WWE Superstars and Legends, including The Rock, Triple H, John Cena and Rhea Ripley.
The 2K Showcase centers on CM Punk and mixes notable rivalries with alternate-history scenarios. For subscribers who skipped the game at launch, its arrival in the Game Catalog makes September 15 an easy opportunity to try the latest entry without a separate game purchase while the title remains in the service.
September 22 and 29 expand the lineup
The second half of the month spreads the remaining releases across two dates. Ball x Pit and Slitterhead arrive September 22 in the U.S., while Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Sniper Elite: Resistance follow on September 29.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is especially notable for players who prefer fast 2D action. Developed by the team behind Blasphemous, it draws from the classic Ninja Gaiden era while incorporating ideas associated with the later 3D games.
Dungeons of Hinterberg takes a very different approach, combining action-RPG dungeon exploration and puzzles with a colorful Austrian Alps setting and relationship-building between adventures. Sniper Elite: Resistance, meanwhile, offers stealth and tactical shooting with a campaign that can also be played cooperatively.
What should PlayStation Plus subscribers play first?
The strongest choice depends on what you want from the catalog:
- For co-op and long sessions: RuneScape: Dragonwilds
- For wrestling fans: WWE 2K26
- For fast arcade-style action: Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound
- For exploration and puzzles: Dungeons of Hinterberg
- For stealth and co-op shooting: Sniper Elite: Resistance
The staggered schedule is worth remembering. September 15 is the first major drop, but several of the month’s most interesting games do not arrive until September 22 or September 29.
