The next wave of Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration products arrived October 2, giving collectors two new ways to open the anniversary expansion: a six-pack Booster Bundle and a series of 10 collectible Mini Tins.
The October wave follows the expansion's September launch and continues a staggered 30th-anniversary product schedule that runs through the month.
30th Celebration Booster Bundle: six packs, no extras
The 30th Celebration Booster Bundle contains six booster packs from the anniversary expansion. Pokémon highlights Mewtwo ex, Mew ex, Umbreon ex, Salamence ex and Greninja ex among the Pokémon featured in the set.
For collectors primarily interested in opening packs, the Booster Bundle is the straightforward option: six 30th Celebration packs without the additional accessories included in larger boxed products.
One of the expansion's defining features is Pikachu. Pokémon says every 30th Celebration booster pack includes one Pikachu rare, with 30 different Pikachu illustrations to collect.
Ten Mini Tins form two connected artworks
The 30th Celebration Mini Tins take a more display-focused approach. There are 10 different designs, and their artwork combines to create two larger scenes: one day-themed and one night-themed.
Each Mini Tin contains:
- Two Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs
- One sticker sheet
- One Pokémon art card matching the artwork on the tin
That connected artwork gives sealed collectors a separate completion goal beyond collecting the cards themselves.
What else released October 2?
Pokémon's official October schedule also lists a Mini Portfolio and Enhanced 2-Pack Blister for October 2. The Mini Portfolio stores up to 60 cards and includes a booster pack. The Enhanced 2-Pack Blister includes foil cards featuring Gengar, Marshadow and Team Rocket's Mimikyu, a plastic coin and two booster packs.
More Pokémon TCG products arrive later in October
The month's release schedule isn't finished. On October 23, Pokémon plans to release the Deck Crafter's Collection, which includes a foil Meowth ex, 39 tournament-oriented Trainer cards, a Deck Crafter's Guide, nine labeled dividers and a booster pack.
Then on October 30, the 30th Celebration Battle Decks arrive. The all-foil 60-card decks are led by Espeon ex or Umbreon ex. The Espeon ex deck includes an illustration rare-style Victini promo, while the Umbreon ex deck includes a similar Zeraora promo.
What collectors should know
The Booster Bundle and Mini Tins serve different collecting goals. The Booster Bundle concentrates on packs, while the Mini Tins combine two packs with collectible packaging and artwork. Neither format changes the cards available inside 30th Celebration packs.
As always with a new Pokémon TCG release, availability can vary by retailer and location. Pokémon says to look for the products at Pokémon Center and other retailers that carry Pokémon TCG products.
