Pokémon TCG Delta Reign Nov. 6: Products, Promos & Mega Rayquaza ex

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign releases Friday, November 6, 2026. The expansion brings Mega Rayquaza ex back to the tabletop, introduces two-card Legendary Stadiums, and arrives with several ways to collect or play. Here are the confirmed dates, product contents, and U.S. retailer promotions worth knowing before launch.

Delta Reign release dates at a glance

  • October 24: Play! Pokémon Prerelease events began at participating game stores.
  • November 5, 9 a.m. Pacific / 11 a.m. Central: Delta Reign becomes available in Pokémon TCG Live, including shop packs, the Battle Pass, and a Build & Battle event.
  • November 6: Physical expansion launch and the start of three retailer gift-with-purchase card promotions.

Pokémon says the expansion contains more than 135 cards, including four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, 14 illustration rare Pokémon, 17 ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards, and six special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards. These rarity counts are categories, not promised pull rates.

Mega Rayquaza ex returns—and Legendary Stadiums arrive

Mega Rayquaza ex is the headline Pokémon, alongside Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex. Pokémon says this is Mega Rayquaza's first appearance in the TCG since XY—Ancient Origins.

The set's most unusual gameplay addition is the Legendary Stadium. Each is made from two Stadium cards played together, with artwork that connects across the pair. Pokémon confirms that a booster containing a Legendary Stadium includes both halves. There are six Stadium cards that make three Legendary Stadiums.

For collectors, the connected art is a reason to keep both halves together. For players, read the printed effects before building around a Stadium; its exact interaction matters more than the artwork.

Which Delta Reign product should you choose?

  • Booster Display Box: 36 packs, each with 10 cards and one Basic Energy; best for opening a larger quantity of packs.
  • Standard Elite Trainer Box: Nine packs, a full-art foil Kyogre promo, 65 sleeves, Energy cards, dice, a coin, a player guide, and a storage box.
  • Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box: Eleven packs and two Kyogre promos, including one stamped with the Pokémon Center logo.
  • Booster Bundle: Six packs, without the accessory assortment of an ETB.
  • Build & Battle Box: Four packs, a ready-to-play 40-card deck, one of four foil prerelease promos, and a Pokémon TCG Live code card.

Collector tip: The Kyogre card in an ETB is not the same offer as the separate retailer gift-with-purchase promotion below. Compare the exact card and stamp rather than treating every Kyogre promo as interchangeable.

November 6 retailer promos: Kyogre, Groudon, and Giratina

Starting November 6, participating retailers are offering one of three Pokémon 30 / “What's Your Favorite?” stamped promo cards with a $15 or greater Pokémon TCG purchase, while supplies last. Pokémon says qualifying purchases can be made in-store or online.

  • Kyogre: Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, Five Below, and Macy's in the United States.
  • Groudon: GameStop in the United States; EB Games in Canada and Australia.
  • Giratina: Best Buy in the United States; Toymate and Mr Toys in Australia.

The retailer lists are region-specific. Pokémon has not listed a U.S. EB Games or an Australian Macy's option for these offers. Check participating-store stock and promotion terms before traveling or placing an order; a qualifying purchase does not guarantee a card once supplies run out.

Can you play Delta Reign before buying physical cards?

Yes. Pokémon's official TCG Live announcement schedules the expansion for November 5 at 9 a.m. Pacific (17:00 UTC). At that time, packs and bundles are scheduled to appear in the in-game shop, physical product codes can be redeemed, Delta Reign cards become playable in all game modes, and the new Battle Pass, Build & Battle event, and November Ranked Ladder begin.

Before release day: a practical collector checklist

  • Decide whether you want packs, a particular ETB promo, or a retailer-stamped card before comparing products.
  • If collecting all three store promos, plan around the different participating chains and their separate stock.
  • Keep paired Legendary Stadium cards together, especially if preserving a complete set.
  • Do not assume a particular illustration rare, Mega Pokémon ex, or stamped card is guaranteed inside random booster packs.
