Stellar Blade Switch 2 Nov. 5 Launch: Full Cartridge, SteelBook & DLC

Stellar Blade Complete Edition arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, in the United States. Developer SHIFT UP has confirmed a full-game physical cartridge, a limited-edition SteelBook, and four free Bayonetta-inspired outfits. Here is what players and physical-game collectors should know before launch.

Stellar Blade Switch 2 release date and price

The worldwide launch is simultaneous: November 5 at 7 a.m. Pacific / 9 a.m. Central / 10 a.m. Eastern, corresponding to November 6 at midnight in Korea and Japan. SHIFT UP lists the Complete Edition at a $59.99 US suggested retail price for standard physical and digital copies.

The official Stellar Blade Switch 2 site advertises the game as available November 5, while its limited SteelBook section lists November 6. If you want a physical copy on launch day, confirm the actual pickup or shipping date with your retailer rather than assuming digital unlock and delivery times match.

Is Stellar Blade on a real Switch 2 game cartridge?

Yes. SHIFT UP says the physical Switch 2 edition contains the entire game on the cartridge. It is not a game-key card, and the developer says an additional download is not required to play the included game. That makes this release especially noteworthy for collectors who prefer playable physical media. Future patches or online services are a separate consideration.

The publisher also offers a limited-edition SteelBook with exclusive new artwork. Quantities are described as limited; availability and pricing can differ by retailer. A SteelBook is collectible packaging, not a different game or an announced extra story expansion.

What is included in the Complete Edition?

According to SHIFT UP's September 10 announcement, the Switch 2 Complete Edition includes the base game, previously released NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE collaborations, and Complete Edition bonuses. Those bonuses include:

  • Stargazer outfits for Eve, Adam, and Lily
  • Half-Rim Glasses and Quadruple Rectangle Earrings for Eve
  • A Stargazer cosmetic pack for the Drone
  • 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 Gold

Preordering also provides early unlocks of Eve's white Planet Diving Suit, Classic Round Glasses, and Ear Armor Earrings. These are early-access cosmetics, not necessarily permanently exclusive items.

Four free Bayonetta outfits arrive at launch

SHIFT UP has announced four Bayonetta-inspired Nano Suits for Eve. The outfits are scheduled to arrive November 5 at 7 a.m. Pacific on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC, at no extra charge. Three outfits appeared in the developer's announcement trailer; the fourth was not shown in that announcement.

That means existing PS5 and PC players can also benefit from the collaboration without purchasing the Switch 2 version.

Which version should collectors choose?

  • Standard physical: Best for buyers who want the complete game on a real Switch 2 cartridge.
  • Limited SteelBook: Worth checking if collectible packaging and exclusive cover art matter; verify whether your retailer's listing includes the game card.
  • Digital: Convenient for playing at the global unlock time without waiting for physical delivery.

Before preordering, compare retailer listings for the precise edition, price, shipping date, and any region-specific bonuses. The key confirmed distinction is the physical release's full cartridge rather than a download-only game-key card.
