TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 Launches September 15: Tetramon Duel Master Explained
TCG Card Shop Simulator is set to reach version 1.0 on September 15, 2026, and its biggest addition turns the game’s fictional Tetramon cards from collectibles into a card game players can actually play.
Developer O.P.Neon Games says the 1.0 update introduces Tetramon Duel Master alongside a new wave of Tetramon cards. The timing makes this a notable release for both simulation fans and real-world TCG collectors who have followed the game’s pack-opening, card-selling and local-game-store systems.
What changes with TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0?
Until now, much of the appeal has come from running a trading card store: ordering booster packs, stocking shelves, opening packs, collecting rare cards, setting prices, hiring staff and hosting customers.
Version 1.0 adds a major missing piece: players can use their Tetramon collection in an actual card battle system. O.P.Neon Games described it as one of the community’s most requested features.

How Tetramon Duel Master works
The new in-game TCG uses familiar deck-building ideas but has its own battlefield and scoring system.
- Deck size: 50 cards
- Copy limit: Up to four copies of a single named card
- Opening hand: Five cards
- Mulligan: One opening-hand redraw is allowed
- Starting Tamer Points: 500
- Win condition: Reduce the opposing player’s Tamer Points to zero
Four cards also begin face-down in the Guardian Area. As a player drops through the 400, 300, 200 and 100 Tamer Point thresholds, a Guardian card is added to that player’s hand, creating a built-in comeback mechanic.

Card placement matters
Tetramon Duel Master divides its main battlefield into four Elemental Areas: Fire, Earth, Water and Wind. A card’s attack strength is affected by both its own Elemental Power and the area where it is played, so positioning is part of the strategy rather than simply playing the strongest card in hand.
Players can also evolve Tetramon by placing eligible Evolution Cards on top of their earlier forms. A newly played Basic Tetramon must wait before evolving, but once that restriction is cleared, multiple evolutions can be chained in the same turn if the player has the required cards.

Why the update is interesting for TCG fans
TCG Card Shop Simulator already mirrors a lot of the routines familiar to collectors and local game stores: chasing rare pulls, deciding whether to keep or sell cards, managing sealed inventory and hosting play.
Making Tetramon playable connects those systems more directly. A card is no longer valuable only because it is rare or profitable inside the shop simulation; it can also matter because of what it does in a deck.
That distinction could give collectors a new reason to care about cards they previously treated mainly as inventory.
Release date and platforms
O.P.Neon Games announced September 15, 2026 as the version 1.0 target date. Xbox’s official store also lists September 15, while an Xbox Wire weekly release roundup displays September 14, so players should be aware of that one-day discrepancy in Microsoft’s current listings.
The game is available across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and PC, with Xbox Game Pass support and Xbox Play Anywhere. The Xbox version has been offered through Game Preview ahead of the full 1.0 launch.
O.P.Neon Games also reported in August that TCG Card Shop Simulator had reached more than 3.5 million players across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Preview and PC since launch.
What to watch after launch
The key question is whether Tetramon Duel Master develops enough strategic depth to become a lasting part of the game rather than simply another activity inside the shop simulator.
For players already invested in collecting Tetramon cards, however, version 1.0 changes the purpose of the collection in a meaningful way: the cards on the shelf finally have a game attached to them.
