Play ocarina songs using the Switch 2 microphone
After Link learns a melody, players can hum it or play it on an instrument. The Switch 2 microphone recognizes the song and triggers Link's ocarina in-game. Nintendo has not stated that a separate accessory is required.

Hall of Fallen Heroes adds rematches
The new Hall of Fallen Heroes contains statues of defeated monsters. Players can learn about those enemies or fight them again. Nintendo has not announced a complete list of rematches or rewards.
What else is new?
Nintendo confirms overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes with expanded dialogue, a symphonic orchestral soundtrack and updated movement and camera controls. Link and Navi's adventure across Hyrule remains at the center of the story.
Electric OCARINA OF TIME: $49.99 accessory
Nintendo is also offering an optional Electric OCARINA OF TIME for $49.99 on November 5. It includes Free Play and Auto-Play modes, 12 built-in songs, a volume dial and an audio jack. This is an electronic toy operated with buttons, not a real wind ocarina or a game controller. It requires three AA batteries, sold separately.

New Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo coming in 2027
Two new Ocarina of Time amiibo—Young Link with Navi and Young Zelda—are planned for 2027. They unlock special masks inspired by the original game's retro look. Nintendo has not announced firm release dates for the figures; existing Zelda-series amiibo can also unlock rewards. Check the official Young Link and Young Zelda listings.

ZELDA NOTES support
The remake supports ZELDA NOTES through the Nintendo Switch App on compatible smart devices. Nintendo says the companion service requires a Nintendo Account, a persistent internet connection and a compatible device; data charges may apply.
